A loving family in Brooklyn, NY (11231) is seeking a compassionate and experienced full-time, live-out Nanny to provide care for their 4-month-old infant, beginning as soon as possible.
Preferred Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00/8:30 AM – 6:00/6:30 PM, (approximately 55-60 hours per week)
*Please note that family travels 1 to 2 times a year and would like their nanny to travel with them.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing attentive, nurturing care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and age-appropriate interaction
- Following and reinforcing the family’s established routines, including the Moms on Call method
- Supporting ongoing sleep training and pacifier weaning with consistency and patience
- Engaging the infant in developmentally appropriate learning, play, and sensory activities
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of infant areas, including bottles, toys, and baby laundry
- Communicating clearly with parents regarding daily routines, sleep, feeding, and milestones
The ideal candidate is calm, patient, reliable, communicative, and deeply nurturing. They value structure and routine, bring a steady and reassuring presence, and enjoy working collaboratively with parents who are still learning and refining their parenting approach.
Note: The family has a dog; the nanny must be comfortable working in a home with pets. No transportation duties are required.
Must be fully vaccinated (TDAP, TB test, Seasonal Flu Vaccine)
Compensation: $30–$35/hour (W-2)
