A family in Los Angeles, CA (90027) is seeking a flexible and upbeat Nanny/House Assistant to provide long term, full-time care for their three kids, ages 4, 9, and 12 – beginning May 1st.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, approx. 7:30am – 9:30am and 3:00pm – 7:00pm, with flexibility weekends and extended hours (minimum of 30 hours per week, likely for 40 hours per week)
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist with morning routines, including school drop-offs.
- Perform light household tasks such as dishes, laundry, tidying, and walking the dog.
- Support with household assistant duties, including grocery shopping and running errands, while the kids are at school.
- Prepare snacks and meals for the children.
- Manage afternoon routines, including school pick-ups and transportation to activities.
- Help with homework and provide academic support as needed.
- Engage children in proactive, non-screen activities such as crafts, games, outdoor outings, sports, and swimming.
- Assist with evening routines, including bathing, brushing teeth, and bedtime stories.
The ideal candidate is kind, patient, energetic, and hardworking, with a responsible nature and a positive attitude. They take initiative and actively engage the children by creating fun, structured activities, while remaining warm, easygoing, and able to gently reinforce rules. Must be a strong driver who is comfortable operating a newer Toyota Sienna minivan. Must be willing to collaborate as both parents work from home often.
Note: Experience with ADHD or neurodivergence is a major plus, as they will support a bright, charismatic child who can have high energy at times. The ideal candidate approaches these moments with understanding, calm redirection, and the ability to help him stay regulated.

Compensation: $35-40/hr (PTO, Holidays off, 3 days sick time per year)
