A loving family in New York, NY (10065) is seeking a flexible and proactive Nanny to provide long term, full-time care for their 4-year-old and 6-month-old, beginning as soon as possible.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm.
Guarantee 50 hours, some weeks may be 55 – 60 hours if parents are traveling or have a work dinner.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide attentive care for the 6-month-old throughout the day, including feeding (has a feeding tube), diapering, naps, play, and other age-appropriate infant care.
- Manage the 6-month-old’s daily therapy appointments, including coordinating transportation to and from OT, PT, speech, and other developmental services.
- Plan engaging activities such as walks, park outings, picnics, play dates, and age-appropriate developmental play.
- Pick up the 4-year-old from school at 3:00pm with the 6-month-old and provide care for both children through the remainder of the day, including occasional after-school activities.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children and assist with family meal prep as needed.
- Assist with grocery shopping and occasional family errands.
- Help with children’s laundry as needed, while a separate housekeeper handles regular cleaning and weekly bedding changes.
- Collaborate with the family to plan creative activities, outings, and play dates throughout the city that support both children’s development and interests.
- Open to occasionally providing overnight care on rare occasions if needed.

Compensation: $30-45/hr (Guaranteed 50 hours weekly, Holidays off, PTO, Sick Time)
