A loving family in San Francisco, CA (94127) is seeking a nurturing and positive Nanny to provide full-time, long term care for their now 5 -month-old, beginning mid-September.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide attentive care for the baby, ensuring all feeding, diapering, hygiene, and nap needs are met throughout the day.
- Follow the baby’s wake windows and cues to help guide daily routines and support healthy sleep habits.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate developmental activities, including tummy time, reading, sensory play, and interactive engagement.
- Take the baby on walks and provide opportunities for safe outdoor exploration and stimulation.
- Encourage cognitive, social, and physical development through conversation, play, and responsive caregiving.
- Maintain a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports the baby’s growth and overall well-being.
- Assist with baby laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing and linens.
- Help keep the nursery and baby-related areas clean, organized, and tidy.
The ideal candidate is calm, patient, and experienced in caring for young infants, with a background in early childhood education strongly preferred. They are attentive and responsive to a baby’s individual needs, creating a nurturing environment where the child feels heard, respected, and supported. A native or near-native English speaker is preferred to support language development, and Greek language skills would be a wonderful bonus.
Note: Driving not currently required. Must be open to collaboration, as parents work hybrid schedule.
Must be vaccinated (TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu, MMR, Polio)
Compensation: $35 – 40/hr (after 30 days – PTO, Sick Time, Paid Holidays)
