Bong-Term Nanny
A loving family in Pasadena, CA (91107) is seeking a kind and experienced long-term Nanny to care for their 9-month-old daughter starting right away. Both parents work from home and value a nurturing, respectful, and creative environment for their little one.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)
- Occasional evening shifts for date nights.
- 9 months on during school year, 3 months off during Summer
- Guaranteed 35+ hours per week.
Responsibilities would include:
- Following the baby’s daily routine for naps, meals, and play.
- Planning age-appropriate developmental activities to support physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Maintaining a screen-free environment filled with books, music, and outdoor exploration.
- Providing warmth, patience, and gentle redirection when setting boundaries.
- Keeping play areas tidy, cleaning baby’s dishes and bottles, and helping with baby laundry.
- Sharing daily updates and observations with the family.
Their ideal candidate is calm, gentle, and can be emotionally attuned to their daughter’s needs. Someone who is reliable and communicative, with strong experience caring for infants and a willingness to respect the family’s routines and parenting style.
A nanny who is musically inclined, familiar with early childhood education philosophies such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or Waldorf, or who has experience with elimination communication and early potty learning, is a great plus!
Family also has two friendly but energetic large dogs, so comfort with pets is required.

Must be fully vaccinated (TDAP, TB, Covid, Boosters, Flu)
Compensation: Up to $30/hr depending on experience, overtime pay, guaranteed hours, reimbursement for outings or activities, additional benefits to be discussed after hiring.
