Newborn Care Specialist
A loving and faith-centered family is seeking a calm and reliable Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight support as they welcome their baby on December 7th.
Their preferred schedule is: 8 hours per night, 4 nights per week, for 2-3 weeks, beginning right after birth.
The ideal candidate is structured, dependable, and attentive to detail. Someone who maintains a calm, nurturing presence while also being highly organized and proactive in supporting the household during the night. Providing the family with assistance in overall newborn care and sleep routines, but also helping with light baby housekeeping, including baby laundry, bottle or pump part cleaning, baby food prep, and keeping the nursery tidy and sanitized. Someone who appreciates and understands cleanliness, and takes pride in maintaining a peaceful and hygienic environment.
Experience with infant sleep schedules, gentle soothing techniques, and postpartum support for mothers would be especially valued. Someone who is respectful of family’s Christian values, kind, and easy to communicate with, is also appreciated!
The family has a small toy poodle in the home.
Must be fully vaccinated (TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu)
Compensation: Up to $40/hr, depending on experience (not flexible)
