Nanny
A loving family will be traveling to Santa Barbara (93117) for their wedding celebration and are seeking a nurturing and reliable nanny to support their toddler during daytime and overnights for 1 week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally-supportive care to a toddler throughout the day and night.
- Maintain the child’s familiar routine including: Morning wake-up and breakfast, Engaging indoor/outdoor play, Nap routine, Bath + bedtime routine
- Prepare and offer simple meals + snacks.
- Supervise all water play — their toddler loves the pool.
- Strong & confident safety supervision required.
- Take toddler to the hotel pool, parks, and property grounds for exploration and play.
- Drive child to/from events as needed (family will provide car seat + mileage reimbursement).
- On wedding day: be close by and remain available by text to bring child for photos/ceremony moments.
- Maintain calm, supportive care if the child experiences emotional moments or transitions.
Their ideal nanny is warm, playful, patient, and confident caring for toddlers in new environments. Comfort and experience with hotel-based care, and providing clear communication with parents is essential. Someone who will provide full daytime and overnight care in a hotel environment, supporting meals, naps, bath/bedtime routines, play, and safe exploration. It’ll be important for their nanny to accompany the family to certain wedding-related events and be on call for scheduled moments when their little one will join in (photos, ring bearer role, dances).
Compensation: Starting at $30/hr + hotel stay covered.
