A loving family in New York, NY (10013) is seeking a flexible and dependable Postpartum Doula to provide overnight care as they welcome their second child on September 9th, 2026.
Important note: Must be Carrot registered/approved.
Schedule: 8-10 hours a night, 5-6 nights a week, 4-5 weeks – beginning 2 days after birth.
** First week ideally in NYC, following 3 weeks in Sag Harbor (live-in accommodations covered)
The ideal candidate is nurturing and experienced in essential newborn care, providing calm and attentive support that allows the family to rest and the parents to focus on both their newborn and toddler. They confidently assist with feeding, soothing, diapering, sleep routines, and other newborn essentials while adapting to the family’s evolving needs during the postpartum period. The family is seeking someone based near the NYC or Long Island area who is comfortable staying with them in Sag Harbor for several weeks, with mutual flexibility to accommodate occasional trips home as needed. Above all, they value a caregiver who is collaborative and committed to helping the entire family transition smoothly during this special time.
Note: The family has a dog in the home.
Must be vaccinated (TDAP, TB, Flu)
Compensation: $50 – 60/hr
