A couple in Farmers Branch, TX (75244) is seeking a kind and proactive Postpartum Doula to provide day and overnight support, as they welcome their second baby on September 27th, 2026.
Schedule:
5 hrs a day, one day a week & 12 hours a night, 2 nights a week – for 6 weeks, beginning the first night home from the hospital.
The ideal candidate has a nurturing presence and upbeat personality that fosters a strong and meaningful relationship with the family. They have strong experience with breastfeeding support, as the mom was unable to breastfeed her first baby. They are proactive, hardworking, and intuitive, able to take initiative and stay a few steps ahead while offering steady, reliable support. They also help nourish the mother’s recovery through thoughtful meal preparation and an understanding of postpartum nutritional needs, while assisting with newborn care so mom can rest and heal.
Note: The family has a dog in the home.
Compensation: $40 – 45/hr
