Postpartum Doula Cross-trained as a Newborn Care Specialist
A quiet and loving family in Irvine, CA (92618) is seeking a patient and experienced Postpartum Doula who is cross-trained as a Newborn Care Specialist, to provide overnight support as they welcome their first baby on December 5, 2025, with support beginning the night of birth.
Their preferred schedule is:
10 hours (10pm-8am) a night, 7 nights a week, for 3 weeks
10 hours (10pm-8am) a night, 4 nights a week, for 2 weeks, with possibility of extension.
The ideal candidate will provide both physical and emotional support during postpartum recovery, help establish healthy sleep routines, and guide the family in developing essential newborn care skills. Someone communicative who will foster a nurturing environment that supports bonding between parents and baby, while respecting household boundaries and helping to create a safe, loving home environment. Nursing or medical background is a plus!
Family also has a British short-hair cat in the home.
Please Note: References from last 2-3 families will be required.
Must be fully vaccinated (TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu)
Compensation: Starting at $40/hr and flexible, depending on experience
